Nature Alphabet Book

$6.00

The Nature Alphabet Book is an interactive book for children to bring along on outdoor adventures.

This book allows children to see their natural world through a whole new lens. As children are exploring, they will begin to see letters in trees, roots, leaves, rocks, flowers and even animals! Some children ache for a purpose during hiking before they can develop their appreciation for just being in the outdoor world. Children might like looking for habitats, birds, a perfect hiking stick, etc. and now children can look for letters! They will be SO excited when they see a letter and get to add it to their book. (Trust us, as adults we were downwright giddy when we found a new letter!) Children will be having a blast on their letter hunt AND they will be reinforcing their literacy, observation, and cognitive skills!

How to use the Nature Alphabet Book:

  • We recommend assembling your book by printing, then aligning the black dots and either stapling or hole punching & adding rings or ribbon.

  • We recommend discussing with your child if the book is something they would like to bring along on adventures or be used as a reflection tool after an adventure. (If the book isn’t laminated, it will be prone to squishing in adventure packs!)

  • We recommend making it a whole class or family adventure: the more eyes for a letter hunt, the better!
