Adventurous and Active Engagements with Trees:

Slackline

Slacklines are fun for people of all ages. Beginners can start by having two slacklines set up parallel (one for your feet to walk on and one for your hands to stabilize you as you walk). Slacklining isn’t only fun, but it is also great for for building strength, concentration/focus, balance, confidence, and the ability to fall safely.

Ninja Warrior Slackline

This is a fun twist on a regular slackline. It has all sorts of add-on components to make the ultimate obstacle course. It can easily be adjusted to aid all skill levels whether it be just walking the slackline or completing a version of Ninja Warrior.

Climbing Tree

What an innovative way to help children climb trees! This is a wonderful solution to help children who can’t yet quite climb a tree on their own. Children will still get the thrill of climbing the tree, the sensation of bark on their hands and the health benefits of connecting with the tree, but without the frustration of slipping and not being able to reach the height they desire!

Hanging with Trees:

Rope Tree Swing

This swing is fun for climbing and swinging. Easily secure this swing to a strong branch and allow for tons of fun without having to buy a huge bulky playground set.

Wooden Tree Swing

If you are in to traditional and natural looking swings, this is the tree swing for you! Easily and safely attach it to a sturdy branch for fun for children and adults of all ages!

Circular Swing

We like that this swing allows space for more than one child to enjoy at once. If you have a whole class of children or multiple children of your own- this is a great swing choice! Secures directly to a strong tree for endless entertainment!

This is our favorite hammock due to its sturdiness, comfort, and ease of transport. You can easily secure the lightweight hammock to your backpack with its built-in clip. It is very easy to put up and take down for afternoons hanging amongst the trees. (You can even fit two people in it!)

Educational Endeavors with Trees:

Tree Tapping

Have you always wanted to try tapping your own sugar maple tree and making syrup? A fun learning experience for a family or classroom to understand how amazing trees are and where your food comes from!

Avocado Tree

If you or your children enjoy eating avocados or guacamole, then you may want to invest your time into growing your own avocado tree! You can grow it right in your home to see the process of a seed turning into a tree with roots, leaves, and fruit!

Bonsai Tree

From personal experience, we can tell you growing your own bonsai tree is no easy task! It requires patience and finesse to grow a bonsai tree. But the end result is a miniaturized, but realistic representation of nature in the form of a tree in your very own space. Bonsai trees are supposed to have wonderful health benefits too!

Up-Close Observation of Critters using Trees:

Bug Hotel

Attract bees, ladybirds, and butterflies to your outdoor space by creating a habitat for them. Simply adhere this ‘Bug Hotel’ to a tree and see what critters join your space!

bat house

Why would you want to attract bats to your home? They eat mosquitoes & other insects that are not only pesky, but also damage crops & plants! (Plus they’re pollinators and seed dispensers)

Squirrel Feeder

Quirky little picnic table squirrel feeder for both you and critters to enjoy. A squirrel sitting at a picnic table is sure to bring joy to its observers.

Tree Face Bird Feeder

Adding a bird feeder to a tree- whether it attaches to a tree or hangs from a tree- is a great way to bird watch! This is a silly tree face feeder that makes us giggle.
